MOTOVIS has passed the "ISO26262:2018 ASIL-D" Automobile Functional Safety Process Certification

On February 9, 2023, as an enabler of embedded AI autonomous driving, MOTOVIS announced to pass the certification of "ISO26262: 2018 ASIL-D" Automobile Functional Safety Management System, and obtained the certification certificate issued by TÜV NORD (TÜV North Germany Certification), an international authoritative safety certification body.

The certification ceremony was held at Motovis’Shanghai Headquarters.Mr. Hu Yibo, the CTO of MOTOVIS, represented the company to attend the certification ceremony. The certificate was issued by Mr. Zheng Wei, Director of Functional Safety of  TÜV NORD China and representatives of both teams witnessed this important moment.

The ISO 26262 Functional Safety Standard is a leading international standard for automotive safety. The ASIL level determines the requirements to system safety. From Level A to Level D, the higher the ASIL level, the more stringent the requirements on system security, development process and technology.

 

This certification is led by the MOTOVIS R&D Center, which took eight months, and finally passed the high-quality audit of T ü V NORD German Headquarters, successfully obtained the rare ISO 26262 functional safety ASIL-D standard certification, the highest level of safety ASIL-D standard certification  The certification range is Part 1 to 10, covering entire functional research and development process through life cycle of products, including safety management, concept stage, system development, software and hardware development. This certification has been implemented on the TDA4-based integrated driving and parking domain controller platform by MOTOVIS.
